Meet Katelyn

Hi, I’m Katelyn — wife, homeschooling mama to three, and believer that the everyday moments are the ones that matter most. I’ve always had a passion for art and design, a love for creating, and a curiosity for finding beauty in the ordinary. Over the years, that’s taken shape in so many ways — from running Etsy shops and diving into DIY projects, to experimenting in the kitchen, to building a life with my husband and kids that’s rooted in creativity, freedom, and intention.

Most days you’ll find me with a cup of reheated espresso in hand, hair in a claw clip, balancing homeschooling lessons, reading my kindle, tending to the garden, or on our way to the next family adventure. I’m passionate about natural and healthy living, organization, and crafting a home that feels warm, lived-in, and inspiring.

This blog is a space where I share the things that light me up: simple recipes our family loves, our latest DIY or home project, book reviews and recommendations, honest reflections on motherhood and life, our homeschool journey, and little pieces of inspiration for building a life that feels cozy, creative, and true to who you are.

At the heart of it all, my hope is that when you stop by, you leave with encouragement — whether it’s a practical tip you can use, an idea that sparks your own creativity, or simply the reminder that you’re not alone in the beautiful chaos of everyday life.

So grab your coffee (even if it’s been microwaved three times today 😉), get comfy, and stay awhile. I’m so glad you’re here.
